Inspired by the iconic blue domes of Santorini, The Dome is a multi-level covered deck atop this magnificent ship. Featuring the first ever glass-enclosed dome constructed in a cruise ship, The Dome offers both an indoor and outdoor pool, plus a unique water feature amidst a tranquil setting. Transforming the space each day and night, the daytime pool converts into a stage during night changing scenery from restful and relaxed to energic and lively. When is the first sailing on Star Princess? 

Star Princess will enter service on the 4th of August 2025 sailing a nine-day Inaugural Italy and Greece roundtrip cruise departing from Rome with destination stops in Corfu, Kotor, Mykonos Santorini and Naples.

Star Princess is categorised in the Sphere Class, making her the second, after Sun Princess, in the cruise class. 

How many Princess cruise ships have had the Star Princess name? 

The upcoming Star Princess cruise ship will be the third cruise ship sailing under the name of ‘Star Princess’ in the Princess fleet. The first ship was launched in 1988 as Aitmar Fair Majesty before changing to the Star Princess name. The second ship debuted in 2002 and was categorised as a Grand-Class ship.
