Partnerships with some of the world’s leading entertainment companies ensure Holland America’s entertainment programs are top notch. From the classically trained virtuoso musicians at Lincoln Center Stage to the rock n’ roll stars of B.B. King’s Blues Club and the chart topping hits of Billboard, there’s a live music act to suit all tastes. Elsewhere, contemporary dance, BBC Earth In Concert and the recent film releases in the onboard movie theatres ensure there’s always a show worth catching. THINGS TO DO

As well as a stellar selection of live entertainment options, Holland America cruises offer a diverse daytime activity program. Sunbathe poolside, discover the culinary skills behind some of the gourmet treats served on board or get hands-on with cookery classes. Active passengers can book a tennis match, try out their basketball skills or hit the gym. Retail therapy comes in the form of designer boutiques and the onboard art gallery. But Holland America Line is perhaps best known for bringing local amenities onboard. In Spain, you may learn flamenco or in Hawaii you could pick up some traditional Hula skills.
