Travel Tips for Cunard Line

DINING

Style and elegance dominate every dining hall aboard a Cunard ship, making every meal feel like an event of its own. Though Cunard prides itself on British specialities, the menus are far from limited. From steakhouses to Mexican food, Asian cuisine to Italian, you will find a diverse and immaculately prepared selection of dining options. And on those days you’re feeling a little more reclusive? Room service is always available, offering up meat, vegetarian and vegan options directly to your cabin door.

ENTERTAINMENT

From day to night, all ships in the Cunard cruise line have a plethora of shows, dances and bars to keep every type of traveller entertained. From West-End-style shows to DJ nights, and guest speakers to a night in the Casino, there will never be a boring night aboard a Cunard cruise ship. If you’d rather have your entertainment in the day, then dance classes, art rooms and indoor games are all at your disposal. And when you’re missing dry land? You can stop by the pub for a quick drink before bed.

THINGS TO DO

Cunard has made its mission to provide a host of unique things to do; from wine certification courses to luxury shopping aboard the Queen Mary 2, your time aboard can be spent however you like. For the more active amongst you, fencing and other activities are available to try out, but if you find yourself exhausted afterwards, a dip in the pool or a trip to the spa will be just what you need. Settle into the ship’s library with a good book, enjoy a classical concert or even stare at the stars in the planetarium: relaxation on a Cunard ship is second to none.

FAMILY

With three distinct areas for each age group, kids are assured a safe and fun time aboard every Cunard ship. The Play Zone looks after children aged 2-7, offering up games, puzzles and art supplies to nurture their creativity whilst on board. The Kids Zone, for 8-12-year-olds, helps to expend some of that pent-up energy with sports competitions, scavenger hunts and art sessions, allowing your little ones to make some friends on the ship. Lastly, Tweens and Teenagers have their own zone to chill out in with discos, quizzes, table tennis matches and much more.
